The Seven Clauses
Each clause names a requirement, then states what a reviewer, family, or auditor would need to see to confirm it. None require access to a provider's proprietary corpus, prompts, or model weights. All seven can be checked from the delivered output alone.
Clause I — Source-Bound Fact
Every factual claim is traceable to a specific, disclosed, citable record.
No date, place, event, or biographical detail is invented, extrapolated beyond its source, or presented as verified when it is not. A reviewer can request the citation behind any factual sentence and receive a specific, checkable answer.
Clause II — Disclosed Provenance
The family, or the licensee's end customer, can see which sources informed any specific passage.
Provenance is available on request, and where practical, by default in the delivered artifact. Trust is built on what informed the work, not on the model or method that assembled it.
Clause III — Labeled Interpretation
Any claim about inner life, character, or motive is explicitly marked as interpretation, never fact.
Interpretive claims are bound to the documented psychological and historical norms of the subject's own community, not to general pattern-matching across unrelated lives. Community alone is not enough: the same historical norm reads differently depending on when in a life it arrived. A person who lived it directly as an adult, a person who watched it take shape as a young person, and a person born after it who inherited it as an unquestioned baseline are three different readings of the same norm, and the interpretation is bound to whichever one actually applies to that subject. A reader can always tell which sentences are record and which are reading.
Clause IV — Data Control and Erasure
The subject or family can access, correct, and permanently delete submitted data and generated output, at any time, without needing to state a reason.
Control does not expire at the point of sale. It is available for the life of the record.
Clause V — Disclosed Confidence
Any interpretive output whose evidentiary support falls below a stated threshold is disclosed as low-confidence, or withheld.
Certainty is never manufactured to make a narrative read more smoothly. Where the record is thin, the output says so.
Clause VI — Human Review Before Delivery
Every output is reviewed against this standard by a person before it reaches a family or an end customer.
No output is machine-generated and machine-delivered with no human accountable for it in between.
Clause VII — Verifiable Without Method Disclosure
Compliance with Clauses I through VI can be audited from the output and its citations alone.
A reviewer does not need access to a provider's proprietary corpus, prompts, or training method to confirm a product meets this standard. Radical trust is control and provenance, made visible. It is not a demand that the method be given away, from us or from anyone held to this page.
